Terms of service
Last updated 2026-07-12
These terms govern use of this Beautiful Brain instance, operated by whoever runs this deployment ("the operator"). The underlying software is Beautiful Brain, released under the MIT license; these terms cover the hosted service, not the software.
The service
A memory-graph server for AI agents: you and your authorized clients store, link, search, and recall memories via the dashboard and the MCP API. Using the service requires an account where authentication is enabled.
Your content
Your memories remain yours. You grant the operator only the rights needed to store, process, and serve them back to you and to the contacts you explicitly share them with, as described in the privacy policy. You are responsible for what you store and share.
Acceptable use
Don't store or distribute content that is illegal, infringes others' rights, or harms others; don't attempt to access other users' data; don't probe, overload, or disrupt the service. The operator may suspend or remove accounts that violate these rules.
Availability
The service is provided without an uptime guarantee. Reasonable notice will be given for planned disruptions where practical. If continuity matters to you, self-hosting is a first-class, supported option.
Termination
You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time. The operator may terminate accounts for violations of these terms after reasonable notice where practical.
Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data beyond the operator's reasonable control. Keep exports of anything you cannot afford to lose.
Changes and contact
Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Questions: https://gitlab.com/sparkletree/beautiful-brain/-/issues.
